We use 1800-Radiator but im sure either is fine.

The first step in removing a 62 radiator is the headlight bezzels. You literly have to start at the front of the truck and work your way in. Nothing is to hard to get to but it is one of the most tedious jobs in the Landcruiser world and it helps to know the propper order for dissasembly and reassembly. The trans cooler lines are the least of your worries. Plan for a full day if you have never done it before and maybe a weekend if you take your time.

By the way the truck looks Great.

Thanks Michael! Thats good to know about the front end and makes sense thinking about it.

Looks like Adam's rig has a shadow now or a twin,,, is the color that close or is it just the photo's. Dosen't matter it's beatiful anywho.:cheers:

Next part of project radiator replacement:

1. Radiator Barn . . . 265

2. 1800Radiator . . . 235

3. Radiator Express . 185

4. OEM . . . . . . . . .600+

5. CCOT . . . . . . . ..350+

I installed a radiator barn radiator (myself!) on my 40 and it works great. How hard is this with the ATF cooler?

Daivid I checked with one of the parts sources I have. This was the e-mail I recieved back 24 hrs later. It's good to see a vendor take the time to explain a potential issue.

Marshall:

Thanks for getting in touch with us. I have one CSF radiator available at the moment from an alternate warehouse. It is specifically for the Land Cruiser up to 12/89 and it carries a note with it because this model has a transmission line connection that confuses people and causes an excess amount of returns. Another reason for high returns is the fact that many Cruisers have been modified over the years. This radiator will fit the orignal 1989 application and the special note is about the jam nut used on the transmission line leaving exposed threads after the lock down has been completed. This confuses people who are unfamilar with the application and who think thread should not be exposed and then seek to return the radiator.

From my alternate warehouse this new radiator sells to you for $389.95 (dealer list is $550, I do not know the price or the time of my next shipment ).
