July is probably an outlier due to the stop order issue. Not sure what Toyota had projected. I do think the prices are still a bit of a problem. It's a bit of a tough sell right now at the Toyota dealer right now while everyone else is offering huge discounts. There's still first editions sitting on dealer lots that were in the first round of deliveries. I just looked up one that is at MSRP price and has been sitting 142 days.

It will be interesting to see how the new 4Runner numbers are in comparison

Sold more LC250 in ONE month than they sold LC200's in TWO years.
pretty telling on the price point I think... they should be at/near MSRP ask soon. Here in the SE they are adding 5-6k in Southeast Distributor options to all of them. which Is hurting sales... they are starting to sit on Lots.
Most of the DE's I have seen at almost at 200 series prices (80K plus) once the dealers add markup and lojack and crap to them.

They also advertised the Land Cruiser this time around…..

I just bought a First Edition from Toyota New Bern and was very pleased with my experience and the lack of dealer add-ons. I definitely recommend them over my local dealer.
