Perhaps I have gotten too old and reserved but whenever I put my foot in it I generally roll into it and stay away from shock loads. The mental image of what stuff gets destroyed by dumping the clutch tends to temper my actions. As such, without resorting to some form of drivetrain abuse there really is very little twisting and no wheel lift (does this mean I'm a $hitty tuner or just that I weigh too much? ).

On paper there is only about 400 HP at the flywheel and, as we all know, huge losses in the drivetrain. A trip to the chassis dyno one day and we'll know. How about a club dyno event?

I'd be interested to see how the torque curve looks for a 3B.

I want to find a chassis dyno after I put 35s back on Moonshine. I have some more turbo modifications coming up in the near future as well. My goal is 250hp with a single, then if I do move to compounds, 350.

Dixie Classic Fairgrounds. Good show. I believe 8 classes total ... Super Stocks, Super Farm, Minis, trucks, 2WD, Jets, and modifieds. Only one engine "boom" when a blown big block Rodeck (on a mini tractor) lost a fuel line.

Rice, I am the same way with the swapped trucks. I leave it up to the owners to see what it will do. I will be interested in putting Heather's truck on a chassis dyno once swapped

For the hogshead, chains, and inches set the stock 3B they ran peaked at (roughly) 91 HP and 160 ft-lbs.

~134hp and ~220 ft/lbs. Not bad! That's about what the 2F made in the 80s.

Yeah, thats why so many guys slap a turbo on the 3B.
My wheezy 2B runs higher compression than the 3B (well, maybe not mine specifically ) and, as I understand it, has a bottom end less tolerant of boost. So I just move to the right.
