Location
Tega Cay, SC
Who: Charlotte area members of ONSC and perhaps local Upstate Cruiser guys and anyone else that wants to come
What: Meeting
When: Saturday, March 24th 4 pm - until
Where: Mac's Speed Shop - Steele Creek location 2414 Sandy Porter Rd. Charlotte, NC 28273 Just off I-485 S. Tryon Street Exit
Why: We're due to get together and catch up over good beer and food. Same venue as the January meeting as it seemed to work well for most.

Post up if you can make it and spread the word to guys that don't check the boards often.

I've just gotten word from a local Toyota dealership that they will offer ONSC club members a discount similar to what the Fred Anderson dealership offers. I hope to have details to share at this gathering.

Finally, if you'd be interested in attending a HAMOM at my house in April to rebuild the knuckles on my '77 FJ40, please let me know. I could use someone with some expertice. This would be in place of an April gathering at Mac's.

Doh!!! thats the same weekend as the mad monster party i'll be shacked up at for that weekend..... I know i'm a freak when it comes ot horror movies or halloween.....
I'll have to try and sneak away for a few hours but that means getting Andrea pulled away from it also :hhmm: That could be the hard part

sounds good, and I should be able to help you with them knuckles, just redid mine on the 80...I'm sure theyre not exactly the same, but its all greasy metal...

If the Hamom is on a sunday i'll be down.... new job will work most saturdays.
They are different as there is a knuckle centering tool??? Or something like that, that i've read about in a few threads.... not too sure how to do that but i'm sure someone with a 40 can walk us through that.

I've talked to several guys and sent PMs to even more and expect we'll have a decent turnout. The chance of rain for tomorrow is only 30% and they are calling for a high of 82 degrees so I suspect we'll sit outside unless it's covered with pollen.

For the beer lovers (aren't we all?), they're celebrating Charlotte Craft Beer week and have a $1 off IPA drafts. Live music is suposed to start at 7pm for those making a night of it.

anyone bringin their youngins?.....Evan had a good time last time

ot sure when i'll get there because i'm not sure what time I get off of work tomorrow.

Mark (Carolina Cruisin') said he might have the wife and kids in tow. My wife and kids might swing by. Raphael will have his daughter, but she's only 1. Not sure if there will be any others.

Al, whenever you're done, I bet you'll be ready for beer(s) and they should have plenty.

Great turnout tonight. Mike, sorry for the confusion as to the location.

I'm glad so many people were able to come out and I apologize for jinxing the weather (for those that weren't there it poured rain and even hailed). At least there was that spectacular rainbow...

I'll post up in the next week or two as to whether I'll host a HAMOM or if we'll meet at Mac's again in April.

Rainbow.webp
