Well my shox made it...so its on for this weekend. Its still real hot around here but i'll give it a good go. I'm gonna hit the metal yard tommorrow for some round tube to extend my sway links, as well as, my panhards.

The 8241's are nice and long, and i dig the large shaft diameter. I'll post up when i get more done of course....

Looks good. Love the built in bump stops. Cool idea. Beefy shafts wow. If I did my math correct those are 14" travel. Right? Also what are you planning on doing with the bottom mount on the front as it is an stud mount.

Front end is done. That is all I could muster in 118 degrees. Rear set gets installed in the morn.
I made my lower front shock mounts from some 2" tall sections of .250" wall hitch material that i just cross drilled for a through bolt.
Castor will definately have to be addressed. The more i look at things, the more i realize my 3 link idea will work like a charm. tons of room for fabbing.

Have any trouble installing the springs? And I see you extended the swaybar. Nice, looks like square tubing.

Im lookin like a so cal prerunner buster, haha... wheres my flat bill cap!..
springs were ez. shocks were too really. yeah, still stock brake lines but bracket has been removed on passenger side hardline by knuckle. main line near center of housing was raised with a metal collar. plenty of slack in the hard lines to provide all the room you need at full droop.
and yes, square tube for swaybar spacers. good eye.
panhards need to be addressed next. after that, i will begin compileing parts to build my threelink...nice how the axle is wide and flat on top to weld all kinds of crap to..
i will be goofing around in it as is ( no castor correction) until then based on several other individuals' results with big michelins and stock arms.

You need to relocate the frame side control arm mounts or extend the arms...then you'll be stuffing those 39s with ease. If not you're going to end up with rubbing issue in the rear of the wheel well and possibly near the exhaust.

The rear is done. Springs dropped right in. I couldn't stand looking at my booty fab sway bar spacers, so i took both sway bars off to lengthen the links with round tube to look more OEM. Sway bars are definately needed as im sure i could capsize this boat with no trouble. panhards are also next. I'd like to report that it rides very nice so far, and no new growling of any sort.(knockin on wood) Tires will go on this week. Untill then, heres some pics of a 6" lift and 275's...silly...
Yea, he rubs in the front...that or has a good bit more bumpstop extension...or has no caster correction at all....either way he is compromised somewhere that I am not.
Get some beefy tires with some wider than stock wheels and you'll have your stability back...plus you'd be surprised the angles these beasts will handle without capsizing.

Alkaline-you runnin sway bars?
Rear only, no front. If you run those military Michelins you will be stable as a mofo...all that unsprung weight is great for that. I also wont be adding a front back until it's a Currie anti-rock, I dislike swaybars when in the rocks.
