To start, sorry I don’t have pictures but it also wasn’t my rig. Last week at cruise moab another gentleman with a 200 running ome uca’s broke one in half on the trail. Not a difficult trail either, we were on poison spider. Thought that was pretty crazy. Passenger side uca behind the ball joint split right in half. My concern is I have the same uca’s but so far no issue for a couple years. Couldn’t find any other instances of this happening. Planning to do rubicon in June and I wouldn’t have thought to carry spare uca’s but now I’m thinking I should buy some billet ones. Any thoughts?

That is a bit alarming. I've only had mine for a little over a year and no issues thus far. You should try to track down some pictures. I'd be curious to see.

I wish I had taken a couple of pictures with my own phone. I took some with the gentlemen’s phone whose truck it was. We left his truck on the trail, he needed pictures to show whoever was coming out to rescue him and parts he’d need. Don’t remember his name and no clue if he’s on here. Just figured I’d share since I’m concerned for my own uca’s now.
Wow this is alarming. I chose the OME UCA over SPC specifically because there were no reported failures…
