Greetings!
I am a new 200 series owner and have a few questions concerning suspension upgrades. I apologize in advance if this ones been beat to death.
My plan is to install standard OME springs/struts (as opposed to the BP-51 setup). While the front is pretty easy to decipher, I am fairly confused about the rear coils. I was initially debating between the 2722/2723 coils but then noticed that a lot of folks where getting as much as 2’’ of lift with the 2721 springs (which are advertised as 0’’ lift). I am okay with a mild rake but I would like to be fairly level and am concerned that a 2722/2723 (advertised as .75’’ lift) may provide too much lift in the rear. Does anyone have any experience or insight with either of these setups?
Additionally, I am also confused as to whether I need the standard springs or the heavy constant springs. I have a lot of camping gear but do have the third row seats removed and don’t have an aftermarket bumper or anything like that. Would the standard duty coils suffice or will I appreciate the heavier duty coils when I’m all loaded up?
Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!
Sincerely,
-Mark
