Hello!

I know that OME makes the...

Front: OME 880 (light) / OME 881 (heavy) 40 mm
Rear: OME 890 / OME 891 (150KG) / OME 892 (300KG) 40 mm

But I just want to know if somebody use the front spring HD 882 in a 90 series (Prado or Meru).

The 90 series springs are the same size of the FJ Cruiser springs?

I can use the FJ Cruiser springs of 50 mm?

Front: 884 / 885 and 886? 50 mm
Rear: 895 / 896? 50 mm

Thank you very much!

I think Tepui will be the one to answer this>.. I will be installing the TJM version of the Prado Suspension....

Epale pana ;)

Not sure if you can use the 882 FJC springs in a 90 series. I know you can use Tundra springs, and wouldnt be surprised if the FJC springs fit. The best way to find out would be to call ARB USA and ask if you can use FJC 882s on a 3rd Gen 4runner (which shares the same suspension with the 90 series Prado/Meru)

Also, you could try asking the same question in yotatech (but dont even mention Prado, or Meru, you'll get them confused-- just say 3rd gen 4runner to get a more accurate answer.)

yes you can fit the FJ springs in the 90 series. But you might get a harsher ride than the LC90 springs.

The spring rate on the LC90 spring are 500 lbf/in for both 880/881 and the FJ springs are 590 lbf/in for 884/5/6. plus the free height is taller by 20mm meaning taller lift. This is good if you plan to put bumpers/winch in front. It will not sag as much.

For the rear you better use the 90 series springs or you will lose the lift. The free height of the 90 series is taller by an average of 30mm to the FJ springs in either the hars/med/soft springs.
