Well after more the 14 years under my BJ42 I though I would pull all the leaf and inspect bushing. I was enduring some bing, leaf eye would move side to side. Well once the leaf were removed I realized that my bushing were like new! BUT the steel sleeve compressed in the leaf eye in which the bushing are inserted were badly loose. Which would cause leaf move side to side. I guess all those year of off-roading caused the eye wrap to open up and caused those sleeve to become loose. I must not be the only one who had this happen? We ended bringing them to local leaf shop, they unpacked them, recompressed the leaf eye on the sleeve and replaced all the yellow shims with new one! Anxious to try the truck again tomorrow !
