I'm getting ready to order my J springs and was wondering if I should also order the Mr. Gasket spacers while am at it. The lift I have on now is just the std. 850/863, and the truck has quite a bit of rake.

Does a "j" lift still have a slant? My truck has a ARB in front with a winch, so I'm betting it will sit the same way it does now, just a couple inches taller.

And yes, once the other springs are off, I'll have them up for sale . . .

Do you ever carry heavy loads, like expedition style camping offroad? If so, the rake is what lets you do so without the rear end sagging.

I know the springs are meant to carry a load, I'm just wondering when I put the J's on, if it's still got the same rake, I'll need the spacers to even things out a little.

It has quite a bit of rake with all Js. I wouldn't use the Mr. Gasket spacers. I've seen some that have decayed over time. There are better alternatives available but of course they cost more. Also, you will need more than OME caster correction bushings. Adding the spacers without a caster correction method other than the bushings will only worsen the caster situation. One thought would be to not run the Js in the rear?

If you order from someone knowledgeable, like Slee, then they will guide you to what you need. Otherwise, if you search the archives, you will notice a lot of folks with winches and bar on the front add spacers to the front.
