my 80 has OME 418 springs on the front and 421 springs on the rear. PO installed them. I have searched all over to try and determine how much lift these springs create but have not had any luck. Does anyone know? I'm thinking close to 3"

cruiseroutfitters.com has a chart of all OME springs. You will find those Competitiin Spring part number near the top. The comp springs are designs for heavily loaded rigs and will lift you up more than the adverised height if not. They are stiff. There are some new offerings on the market that are better in every way.

good deal. I'll check out the chart. I really don't have a problem with the stiffness. Probably because I don't know any different. I'm about to add 4x4 labs front and rear bumpers so the stiffer springs may be beneficial

Actually, the rear comps are a 280lb/inch spring which is not too stiff unloaded and will carry a fair load confidently. It’s the fronts, which are 300lb/inch that we’re too stiff for me. My light tube bumper and winch at 150 pounds, were not enough to compress the spring to full up travel. I always felt like I was teetering when on op of a rock. But mine were the 5” version so your experience may be different.
