I got some cheapie stainless studs off Amazon. Don’t waste your time. This is one area where OEM are best. My spare engine had studs that were in good shape so I just used those.

What was the price point? How was shipping? There website says some mods required? Where they a direct bolt up to stock exhaust system or meant for a custom exhaust. Thanks WesThose are pacemakers. They’re from Australia.
I went with the inside the frame option like the 105 was and run no cats. No pipe to smash on the rocks and no worries for cats in the way or have to do some cage for umm with the sliders.Landcruiser 80 Series Outside Chassis TRI-Y

I installed them to have the rest of the exhaust done and was going to have them coated as I thought the blue would burn off. Surprisingly it’s held up great so far. It does however come right off with brake clean. Lol I hit them on a spot when I was cleaning something. It’s only been 5,000 miles or so I’d guess but I didn’t expect the primaries to have paint left on them from just the drive home from the exhaust shop.
This reads like a clip out of a cruiser fan’s adventure novel…. Seems like your low oil sensor would have triggered the dash light.Yeah so the plan was to build the used one while I was doing other baseline activities and wheeling it. I knew it was hurt buying it but it had some good going for it the head and trans had been rebuilt recently so if nothing else it was a good deal for that. But tearing it down man it was bad and I really wanted a good not turned crank and that wasn’t going to happen with this one. I started getting worried about finding good bearings and a machine shop I could trust with turning it. These aren’t as easy as building old Chevy’s. So I kinda kept hunting and was going to start compiling parts and a plan. But then I blew up my motor after it idled burning and leaking oil for 2 days keeping me warm while I was stuck in snow drifts in the mountains. It was low on oil when I was trying to break through and lots of high rpm with load and then unloaded on the end of a which line getting out once my rescue crew arrived. I hadn’t thought about oil level it’s usually a post trip or start of day at camp ck deal. Spun two rods and there was debris in excess going through it 3qts. lowwill do it. Pics to come. They’re on my old phone. Bummed for sure.
