I have always run the 0W-20 but being in Southern Cali, and doing a lot of desert off roading in rather warm temps, if I should run the thicker oil. I ran 5W-20 in my Tundra for 240,000 miles and that engine ran like new when I traded it on the LC. Maybe worrying for nothing. What was your paradigm?
Heck, I run 5w30 year round and have never had a challenge with slow starts or anything else. Of course I plug in if it is going to get much below -10/20FWhat was your paradigm?
