Oil problem.

Hi all;

I have LC 80 with 4,5 litre gasoline engine. I have noticed that oil is missing every 400 kilometers 9about 1 liter per 400 kilometers) I havent noticed any blue smoke out of exhaust and any major leeks from engine...

I wonder what could be the cause.... Any idea?

P.S. I have changed sealings in oill cooler situated inside the engine block. Sealings are new directly from Toyota. Had to do that because have small leek out there.. Do You think that oil can still leak, and mix with cooling fluid....

My oil consumption went away after having the HG replaced and the Head redone. 3 valve seals were bad.

What does HG mean? Sorry for such a question, but my english is rather poor...

Head Gasket. I think it had more to do with the head (Valve work) but you do both when you replace the Headgasket

Thx for answers. Il make compresion test on monday. Will see rather its rings or valve sealings... Or maybe none of them.
