Hello!

so i have some issues with my oil pressure senssor, and dont really have the time to fix the original one ( some wire issues ) in the maintime i just want to add another oilpressure sensor, but whats the name of the thread going in to the block? Bsp? and is it a 8mm? i need a conversion from one thread to another

I don't know, but I believe the small harness and the oil pressure sender is still available from Toyota. I personally would just go for that.

1/8 BSPT.

Yeah I bought a new one, and changed it, but it probably some wiring fault somewhere, maby I’ll just research how to check for the wire failure

Broken wires at the sensor connector housing is a common failure; look over the pigtail from the connection to the main harness through to the sensor end. It is obvious if that's the problem.

It might be you sub-harness for the oil pressure sender.

I pulled my engine and had it rebuilt in the fall of 2021. A new oil pressure sender was installed then since the tab on top rusted and broke off the original. However after the engine was reinstalled and started, I wasn't getting any oil pressure. I verified with a manual oil pressure gauge but it turns out my sub harness was bad. I cleaned the contacts but it wasn't passing signal/power. I replaced the cable and the oil pressure gauge started working again.

Toyota 82221-60020 Wire, Oil Pressure Switch. It's about $60.
