So I dug into my wiring harness to fix a broken link in the wire that feeds my alternator (sensing wire) When I run my cruiser now the oil preasure gage always shows lower than before. It seems to sit way lower when the cruiser is not running, so low you can't see the needle. I'm thinking that the preasure is fine but that the needle now just starts lower when there is no preasure and therefore reads lower when there is even though the preasure is fine. It used to show half at high rpm's now just 1/4. any thoughts? Where is the needle suposed to sit when the cruiser is off?

off = no show...
1/4, 1/2 not a biggie, if you are really worried then install a mech guage, Toyota guages suck...
