Hi.

I had a mobile mechanic come and help me change my timing belt. Long story short, I had to tell him to leave because he was not very professional..

I was able to get the timing right and am in the process of putting everything back together. For some reason, he took removed the oil filter housing thing & I have no idea how to put it back on. Does anybody know how to install this thing correctly?

Thanks in advance for the help!

This may not help but try orienting it so that the filter points toward the panel in the skid plat. The "flap" at the bottom of where the filter goes is, well, on the bottom.

From this diagram, it looks straightforward, but it will need a new gasket where the housing meets the block. Check the hoses and OEM clamps for removal damage, if the mechanic was not careful those could need replacement too.

I just crawled underneath my truck and took a pic real quick, sorry it's dark and couldn't see much, but try to line it up with the bolt holes
