i'm sending in tomorrow to Blackstone Laboratory my used oil sample on my 35k mile LX570. I will post my results on this thread when I get the results back. It would be great if anyone else that has done a UOA on their 200 series would post their results. If we get enough results we might learn something about what works best and for how long in our Hundys

I've done these on my 80 series and other 100 series. It tells you how the engine is wearing or not wearing and if you are getting good air filtration, what the TBN is and a recommendation oil oil change interval. I'm using the recommended Toyota 0w20 synthetic and changing between 5k - 6k miles.

Here is the UOA, using Toyota 0W20 synthetic, 6400 miles on the oil and now around 36k miles on the 200 series. This would be a great sticky if others would post their UOA.

Engine is wearing great at this rate doing 6-8k mile changes and Lexus recommended service this engine will go 500k+ miles. But even though Lexus states 10k mile oil/filter changes it looks like that might not be a great idea. I will continue to do mine in the 6k mile range. Like I stated it would be interesting to have other members using different oil at different OCI to have their UOA and post the results.
Toyota and Nissan in the gcc recommend 10k kms (6k miles) oil changes for full synthetic I'll try to find a lab down here and do an analysis as well, would be good to know what's going on in there
