Sure looks like my fj60 from Idaho, it was the cleanest 60 I ever imported. Should have kept it.
Been a few years, but if I recall correctly, I believe it had some repairs done to the wheel arches… it had some subtle variations in the curves.

Last couple years there's been a bj60 with a "land turtle" windshield sticker parked out front of a lumber yard during work hours.

Would always see it on weekdays on my morning commute.

Today , the Colin mobile was parked in that spot and no bj60.

So, my guess is that dude bought it.

Glad it's gone to someone who has cruiser experience. Thing was a great deal when it finally sold.

Saw a pretty heavily modified FJ Cruiser which was clearly diesel swapped (rolled coal on acceleration; looked to be running pretty rich). Near Chemainus on the weekend. Neat looking truck. Dude waved at my poor LJ sweating away whilst pulling the trailer, haha.

Now there's a thing I haven't seen. Wonder what he crammed in there.

2lte? 🤣🤣

Just when I thought I’d seen just about every 60 series on the South Island…

I also saw an 85/86 60 series that is the same colour. I spoke to the owner who had the 2H from his rusty silver 60 swapped into a engineless beige 60 (gasser). Now many years later the rust free truck has rust over the right rear wheel.
He wants to fix the rust, but two body shops have refused to quote or work on it. I gave him a name… hopefully he’ll get it sorted. Wax is his business so he just wants to pay someone else to fix it.

A quick search of their twitter info shows that it has a newer 6.0 Gas V8 and an auto trans.

What kind of roof bars gutter clamps are those?

Nice, low profile means reduced chance of willow removal.

I wheeled with this monster last weekend. Lets just say it was interesting.

Anyone know who owns this 40 series? Worst dry rot I’ve ever seen on tires.

Was a diesel. Still has badge on grill. No engine currently. I’d like to track down the owner and see what they have planned… or if they’d sell it.

Four flat tires. Fit with a hatch and tailgate to replace original ambulance doors.

My high school teacher said he saw a car with flat tires and grass growing up around it as a for sale sign. Grass doesn’t grow through concrete very well.
