Nice. I love that color. You can't miss it on the road or trails. Welcome to our family of Cruisers.

nice addition

ditto on the color....Eric like.....I think my first step would be to flip that bezel :D

not to sound like a novice but here it goes...flip the bezel??...I must ask what do you mean...please don't torture me for asking....

bezel

no trouble at all. when you look at the bezel, one side is wider than the other. the wide portion goes on top. at least that is the popular opinion. :D And remember, we are all new at some point. I made many, many mistakes while learning. It's all part of the process.

And if you are new like I was to all this Cruiser stuff. The Bezel is the piece that goes around the head lights. In your case it is Black. Ours is Grey, they come in a variety of colors. Oh, and they also come in different shapes Yours is oval and ours is rectangular.

P.S.
Erymer thought I should mention; I'm his wife.. :)

ok Duke, we have to have more than just pics. How about some history? where did you find it? what got you into cruisers?

I actually found old blue just down the road in Monroe, NC...the guy I purchased her from had bought her in April 06 with the intentions of restoring her but never got around to it due to work, getting married and buying a house so he put her up on ebay...no one ever reached the reserve so I contacted him to see if I can check her out since it was local and I started dealing from there...next thing you know I'm handing over a check and driving her home...she was a good deal....so now I am going to admire her, make a list of things I would like to change/fix and start working....soon I hope...I will keep you updated..Rog

cool deal Rog, It's always fun to here how people come across their rigs. Looks like you have a really good starting point too. Bring her down to URE the weekend of Dec 9 for the traile ride. I would love to take a closer look at it. And welcome again.

Rog,
I remember when we were looking at getting ours and the list of "To Do's" And "Want to Do's." Seems like yesterday. But you know we have had ours less than a year and almost all the To Do's and Want to Do's are done. And it was only with the help of others on Ih8mud. This is a GREAT group of people and they are very willing to help anyone that has a Cruiser. You are in the right place.. :)

Stacy

Almost done with the want to do's and to do's? Are you serious? You ARE new to cruisers, aren't you? ;) I had my last one for 10 years and wasn't done when it was sold. I have had this 40 for 2 years this Feb and I'm not even 10% into what I plan/want to do. The more you drive and it and especially the more you wheel it with others, you will find out what's next on your list.....

Got to agree here. Have had mine since the late 80's and i am still not done with it what soever.

This one is our toy. The next might be a different story. :)
