Del, if you can get it shipped to the shop might want to see what this guy here on Mud has available. Arcteryx

He is in Tx if i remember and he parts out alot of cruisers.

Got ya covered del... Pm inbound
Door glass and fender. No interior

Need to clear out some stuff.

First is a set of IPF Driving lights. Bought these but never installed them. I have had them out of the box for a test fit, ended up going with round lights instead. Everything should be there, good as new. Lights, covers, instructions, wiring harness, the whole shebang. Comes with 100w bulbs!

Next we have a vintage TEQ toolbox. I had this shipped in from Japan! Was going to restore it but it has just sat around.
Pictures pretty accurately describe it's condition. Solid, but needs restoring.

$125 each + shipping.
I'm in Winston Salem and Greensboro every day if you prefer pickup.

Not now, but I want the option for compressor / Welder in the future. I have 3 groove on there now, but it's toast. Doing a little research, turns out it's a no-no to powercoat the crank pulley (aka harmonic balancer).

I may have one in storage. How soon do you need it?

Next couple of weeks would be ideal. I am open to a 2-groove as a stopgap if I can't find a 3groove, just to help get this thing back together for now.

Much appreciated!

would any body be interested in my 78 FJ55? Figured I would offer it here first. maybe could bring it up to NC on one of my trips up during the fall? It is rusty. i have a non build thread on the 55 forum. I just have to be honest with myself. I am not home enough to work on this and would rather it go to someone that might need the parts or drivetrain or what ever. I have the title but I never transfered it to my name. so it still has the Alabama title which is where i bought it. I used to drive it around my neighborhood when i first bought it but since it has been sitting im sure the fuel has gunked up and the battery is for sure dead. I have a 72 spare body with it. but would not be able to bring that up since my trailer is not long enough.

If anyone knows who might have either a complete fj55 or an extra 55 body close to NC, let me know. Unfortunately Del's rust problem was just as bad as mine and I figured I would start looking again. I know there was one in Cary for sale a while back but it was a bit out of my price range. I have a lot of bobm's metal to replace on my 55, but another one that is running or close to running could always be useful.

Thanks in advance

A buddy of mine is selling his 2000 Ford F350 XLT Supercab 7.3 Powerstroke Dually. It has a 6-speed manual transmission. New tires. Lots of extras.

One on cl listed in charleston sc on my cell so no link. I not that smart apparently...asking 1500.

http://landcruisersdirect.com - BJ70's aren't too hard to come by anymore, if you really want one. Looks like a lot of work on that Aville one for 9k, but that's just me.

ETA - I see this one is LHD, so that does change what I said above, my bad.

Yeah I was looking at the LHD as the rare part but definitely agree that the 9k is a little over priced with the work to be done. I would be in the 7000 range IMO

WTB: Part for my FJ40 Aisan Carb (connector rod for accelerator pump)

I've posted this in the classifieds also, but was hoping to source it locally so I can get my truck running.

Looking to buy a "connector rod, spring, washers/clip and lever arm for the accelerator pump" for my Aisan Carb on my 78 FJ40, FJ40Jim(Jim C) tells me that I can use parts form a 1975-80.

Looking to buy the connector rod + spring + washers (3?) + clip at a minimum, it might be easier to just keep it assembled and connected to the lever/arm so I can buy that also even though I don't need that part..

In pic, the parts in red are what i truly need, in blue pictures parts that are connected that might make it easy to disassemble and sell as a unit.

I live in Charlotte NC(zip = 28226).

Whoever sells me this will be my hero, I bought a gambler fj40 last week (non-running rig), and I think this part will get her to purr!

Pls PM me if you (or anyone you know) has an old Aisan Carb for a Fj40 from yrs 1975-1980 that they might part out or sell as a broken unit.

Thanks for your help
