For Sale WARN 8274 Winch $1400 plus the ride if you aren't near Raleigh

The winch was supposedly rebuilt by PO a few years ago....looking for the pics on that to confirm. The cable is new I believe as well. Great condition except a little bit of peeling paint that is easily fixable. Works great although I have never actually used it as a winch besides rolling the cable in and out. It is wired to run cable to the truck and it is actually set up to work off the dash button in the 40. I'd also be willing to sell the front bumper.

WTB: Part for my FJ40 Aisan Carb (connector rod for accelerator pump)

I've posted this in the classifieds also, but was hoping to source it locally so I can get my truck running.

Looking to buy a "connector rod, spring, washers/clip and lever arm for the accelerator pump" for my Aisan Carb on my 78 FJ40, FJ40Jim(Jim C) tells me that I can use parts form a 1975-80.

Looking to buy the connector rod + spring + washers (3?) + clip at a minimum, it might be easier to just keep it assembled and connected to the lever/arm so I can buy that also even though I don't need that part..

In pic, the parts in red are what i truly need, in blue pictures parts that are connected that might make it easy to disassemble and sell as a unit.

I live in Charlotte NC(zip = 28226).

Whoever sells me this will be my hero, I bought a gambler fj40 last week (non-running rig), and I think this part will get her to purr!

Pls PM me if you (or anyone you know) has an old Aisan Carb for a Fj40 from yrs 1975-1980 that they might part out or sell as a broken unit.

Thanks for your help

If you are coming to the lunch on Sunday I can bring a carb from a 74. I am fairly certain that is the same part. Worst case scenario you can take what you need and see if it works. I also have an extra carb off of a 20R that I think will work. Let me know if you're going to be there and I will bring them. Or you can swing by my house in Huntersville Friday night/Saturday morning. PM Me.

I have driver and passenger seats from a 1979 FJ40, driver side needs foam and cover, passenger just needs cover. Both seats work fine leaning forward and reclining rearward. They have been in my building for about 8 years, need to send to new home. I would trade for 2 later model steelies with clips (non-riveted) that fit disc brake fronts. I could meet with you somewhere, or you may pick up. Do not want to mess with shipping these beasts.
Thanks,

Joanna,

I am interested in the bumper. You want a stock bumper by chance?

I don't have a picture because it is currently stored at Jason's house (Jason, would you please post up a pic) but I have a "not heavy duty**" Engine Stand that I'm making free to "The Club", i.e. let it live at whoever's house needs it and pay it forward when someone else is ready for some engine work.

May be able to get it to Logan's run if this is calling your name.

** Not heavy duty ... I've had many small blocks and a couple big blocks on this stand but would think twice before hanging a 6BT on it. Think Harbor Freight and you get the idea.

Ahh but this is no Pittsburgh steel item. This is the true buffalo brand :D

FWIW I did have a 2f hung of one like this for months and bounced it in and out over the threshold careful as i could each time I worked outside in it. Sketchy but it made it.

1974 FJ40, known around these parts as MeJane. We are moving to NOLA next year and I think that I'll let her go..there's just never enough time. Check for a long thread in the 40 tech section by my username and you can see what's been done. Also have a couple of YouTube videos under the name sarca26.

$12,000 for ONSC members. Includes a hardtop ( as disassembled, not ready to use) new Trollhole softop and bows, a couple of aisin carbs and god knows what else..probably a truckload of parts. Also have a stinger for the front bumper, a hilift jack etc. Will throw in a case of Jane paint, which we have left from painting her with last year. The only part we never painted was the engine bay,...I was always about to get around to it. :(

She's got an optima red top, replaced the rear turn signals, runs a 2F, super swampers 30" tires have less than 500 miles on them. Poly tank and radiator were replaced . I'll add as I think of things. Let me know what else you need to know. In a week it'll go on the regular forum. :(

I have seen this 40 in person. Worth every penny.

@cboyd you need this ^
Are you bring her to Logan's run?

I will bring her, if she hasn't sold.

Hoping it can stay in ONSC, and I don't have to sell it..we will see. I'm afraid I'd cry hysterically to see her go. I also can't imagine getting four vehicles down to NOLA.

Anyone interested in a Safari Rack for an 80 Series? I had it fabricated earlier this year and it set me back just over a grand. It was fabricated exactly as I had asked… But it is just a little too tall for my liking. It has a drop down side with about a 50" opening for a narrow RTT. I'll take $300 OBO for it and I'll throw in the brush guard.

BajaRack lightbar and BajaRack wiring harness.
http://www.bajarack.com/accesories-page

It will fit 4 (up to 7" lights) and bolts onto MegaMule 80 series, 100 series, FJ Cruiser racks or any other 48" wide racks.

I had it on my 80 since late last July and never got around to mounting any lights on it, so off it goes. The wiring harness is brand new and still in the packaging. I will post up a pic of that later if there is any interest.

$200 for local pickup.

Do you have picyures of the front of it? Also how is this mounted to the roof?

I can take some more pictures. I had asked for it to be mounted to the gutters, but the fabricator felt that mounting it to the stock rack locations would be stronger. I wasn't sure about this setup because I didn't know if the roof was designed to hold heavy loads - but in discussing with LexTech and other mudders, this seemed to be better than mounting to the rain gutters (rain gutters were meant to route water). Here's the catch: You have to use larger nutserts, the stock nutserts are just too small. I would also suggest welding a couple more gutter mounts for stability.

Well built FJ40 axles for sale - listing for a friend.

Front axle has 30 spline Longfield (not Trail-Gear) chromo birfs and shafts, Longfield chromo hub gears in Aisin hubs, ARP knuckle and hub studs, LockRight locker, 4.10 gearing, disc brakes, armored diff cover, etc. The knuckles have been cut and turned.

Rear axle is a centered diff FJ40 housing with mini truck axle shafts, 4.10 gearing, spool, disc brakes, armored diff cover.

He is asking $1200 obo for the pair of axles. He also has the high steer set-up he'll take $200 for. I'll get pics soon.
