Looking for a sun visor (driver side)..the nobs to adjust the seats back and forth (the small one) on the front seats...the stupid saftey lug nut socket so people don't steal your rims, a rear windshield wiper arm, and most importantly a spare rim with tire. Will a 4-runner rim work? I can get one from work.

Try www.car-part.com. It will get you into the national junkyard database. Awesome site.

It may be tough to get the DS visor (especially in tan).

Which knob do you need? The small on (on top) controls the recline function and is part of the whole assembly. Mine is busted off too. You will need the whole assembly and I do not think it is an easy swap. Driver's and passenger's are different too as the driver's has the lumbar thingy. I got one from Joe when he replaced his seats. It is sitting and waiting until I get new leather (if I ever do).

As a follow-up to Robert's comments, there should still be an 80 series sitting at Wagner's Auto Salvage in Durham. I snagged the sunroof assembly a year ago, so don't know how good the visor would be or any seat parts, but the truck had a tan interior...

I've been to that site before. I didn't have one single part I wanted in inventory for my truck. Really bumed. I'll have to give it a try for this rig. I was looking for anything on my 1997 F-250. I couldn't find a headlight if I wanted to. I'm hoping the site was just not working that day.

I have used car-part.com to find parts. Just keep in mind that not every little part you are looking for will be inventoried. In some cases, I use it to find a yard that has the right truck and call them for the specifics.

not too sure about car-part.com it seems good in theory but every place in their data base (and that is actually very few on the national scale) is expensive as hell

do yourself a favor and dont even think about using those stupid locking lug nuts. i had one break when i had a flat, and it took major, major grief taking it off (7lb sledge and a 3/4 inch socket after about 20% of the locking nut broke off), along with the other 3 when i got home(the key split in 3 pieces). Your catalytic converters will probably get stolen before your wheels do

Jason I think I have the wheel nut lock socket, I saved mine after throwing away those stoopid things - just in case anyone needed it on a trail ride.

Nice

Can you bring that to the ride on the day after thanksgiving? I hear they have a few different sizes but what the hey...I can give it a try. I'm just going to replace them once I get them off.

They do make a special tool to remove these. It is basically an oversized bolt/nut extractor that is reverse threaded. You can likely get one from NAPA or the like.

Yep I've always wanted an exucuse to get one of those sets. Used them at the Auto Skills lab before when I was swaping in the 3.slow to the old 4-runner. Things worked great.

Well, I guess I've been beating on the cruiser a lil hard here lately...

I need a bellhousing for the 2f... Finally cleaned it up from rockvember and noticed some good cracks in it.

Yours is a 3-speed bellhousing, right? If so, I have a couple of them.

I've also got a 3 speed bell housing if you need it... I just have to take it off the engine...
