I'm pretty sure its a 3 speed since the sm420 has been swapped in. Just shoot me a pm on it. I'll have to ride up there and pick it up.

so spread out but between Asheville and OBX you should be able to part together at least a few cruisers.
I know DEL is in desperate need of a hard top. If anyone is in that area and can hold one for him if things start going fast I'm sure he would appreciate it. I'm going to contact the seller on his behalf tonight.
And someone really needs that 3B...yeah not the best engine but still uber cool.

Jason, Did you find out anything ? Kinda looks like a 45 hardtop back piece in one of those pics that i need bad.
Nope he has not replied yet but yeah I think you are right. Looks like a good 40 top right behind it and that black 45 top. I will let you know when i get some better contact info from him. I used the e-mail option hoping that would get him quicker.

I've still not heard back from him. My guess is that we will see a more accurate listing of parts with prices in the near future.

Really? If that is what they are going for I missed out. There was a BJ60 out in Oregon a couple months back that was running going for 3K OBO and having a hard time getting rid of it. I'm guessing that it is around 500-1000K if in good running conidion. yeah things in North Dakota aren't that bad at around 6% but the rest of the country like my home state Oregon are at 12% unemployment with particular regions over 20% like Bend and surrounding counties....damn Californians...always screwing everything up. But yeah the engine is realy nothing specatular... really known for cracked heads. It just has the Toyota and Diesel thing going for it.

I don't really know either. I saw the rig (maybe, near Portland I think) and another sold recently for $2k for a rolling chassis. Just thought I'd ask in the event I get a PM back with a price...
Wow...I guess I should have made my dad run out there and get that rig...yes there was a couple in Portland and the guy I was talking to was in Bend...really rusted rig so it must have been in Canada mos to its life becuase Bend is desert....would have made a good hunting rig for my brother. But yeah this guy just hit me back and said about 3K for the engine COMBO....I guess he is probably about right on though. I mean there are not a ton of Toyota Diesels in the states. Even though they are a dime a dozen in Canada and the 3Bs are heavily infiltrating our country in the last couple of years as they have reached their age limit. I'm starting to see quite a few of them. 50% of the time I read about them though it is becuase it has a cracked head or someone is just wanting an engine for the heads.

I bought it a year and a half ago with 120k miles and have since installed:
trailer hitch,tires/wipers, water pump, new speakers,and gas
I used it for dd'ing and a crutch when gas went over 4 bux a gallon and I was down to the 80.
If you keep it under 70 mph it gets 20 mpg on the higway and 18ish around town.
in the yard for $3900

If the army would give me some orders I'd be on my way. I really think the land cruiser group is the only thing that would make me voluntarily want to stay here. Again I get a bad taste as the area in which I live is not exactly the greatest. The 117 degree days, pine forrests, and sand hills of my central Ghetto is not exactly appeasing.
