LOL I didn't! See I NEED the plastic piece for the 80 but I WANT the roof rack. Unfortunately in my warped mind and crazy sense of logic I almost always put my wants ahead of my needs. Probably explains why I always have been and more than likely will always be perpetually broke LOL!

I have one of those OT Vapors. I like it fine but it's the only kayak I've ever paddled so I don't have much to compare it to.

Looks like low bridge on the New River about 7 or more miles below Zaloo's. As long as the water is up, that's a fun run. Take out at the state park a little ways down. Need to get back on the water.

I bought my tarpon at Zaloos many years ago. He would buy wilderness systems canoes and yaks (Blems and 2nds) each spring, float em down the river as rentals, then sell them at the end of the season. It was cheaper for him to do that than spend the winter fixing the rental damage.

I seem to recall seeing this thread. I have time to read the whole thing since I'm not in a hurry. But, knowing me, if it involves fabricating or swapping internals or rebuilding with a couple parts from something else, then I'm not gonna do it! You'll be happy to know, however, that I have 2 old OEM front calipers and 4 (! - I break things) rebuild kits along with a starter rebuild kit on hand for my winter project.
