My understanding is any new car can be imported, as long as X number have been crash tested. And the safety (bumpers, airbags, etc)/emissions specs are met. That was how some of those r32 skylines were imported in the 90s. Apparently it's just super expensive.

I seriously doubt that was done if he bought 3 and sold/selling 2 and keeping one

There was a Bring A Trailer auction for a 2013(?) BMW 1-series hatch that was tiled in Florida. After some digging, people quickly realized it wasn't done correct and whoever bought it was going to be fxxxed over.

Not like I'd be one to pay twice what something's worth just because it is/was semi-rare. This guy's talking buy it now for 150k though. I could buy 3/5 of @CharlestonG8R 's stable for that kind of money and still have change for Expo East admission. LOL intended.

Logic tells me that if you truly have it all figured out you would post photos of the certifications required to be fully LEGAL in the entire country. I do not know what those certs are, but the guy selling sure should.

That said, if legal and capable of bringing in more, I'd show said documentation and let folks beat a path to my door. Something fishy and it's not the special at the diner.

I will say this, Old Town boats (whether yaks or canoes) are usually on the heavier side. For that price, they may be worth looking into.

If youve never paddled before, id suggest demo days to put your butt in as many seats as possible. That will help you figure out what works for you, not what works for someone else that wants you to buy what they have to be cool.
