1983 JDM HJ60 For Sale

Hello, my name us Chris Spaulding and I have a 1983 JDM HJ60 for sale. I am a long time Cruiser enthusiast and am starting a small JDM diesel Land Cruiser import business. I am looking to import clean, original diesel Land Cruisers and offer them at a reasonable price. I am not in the business of high dollar, fully restored garage queens. I am focused on importing unmodified, clean Cruisers that can be used as daily drivers and enjoyed.

The HJ60 is in excellent mechanical condition and runs and drive very well. It has a little over 81k miles and is fitted with the 2H motor and H55 5 speed with mechanical shift transfer case. It cruises comfortably at 70mph with more power on tap. The interior is extremely clean. The headliner is not sagging and there are no cracks on the dash. There is some wear on the driver's seat and on the rear seat. The body is a little rough with the paint wearing through in a few places and a shallow dent on the left side of the body. There is no major rust or rot on the body or othe frame.

This is a high roof 60 with factory sunroof. The sunroof works perfectly and there are no water leaks. Power mirrors on the fenders work and look great. Factory A/C is not charged and is still setup for R12.

This truck is titled and registered in NC. It has cleared us Customs, EPA and DOT. This Cruiser is 100% US legal with all supporting documentation that will accompany the truck.

Please feel free to email (ChrisSpaulding@aol.com) or call 336.505.7005 with any questions or to see the truck. It is a neat and relatively rare rig, and I would be happy to show the truck even if people are not interested in purchasing it. Driving these diesels is a lot of fun, they have more of a mechanized or mechanical feel to them. Lots of low-end torque and very smooth at speed.

FS - 2 35x12.5R15 Old style MTRs w/ Rims

Instead of selling my old tires as a set, I'm splitting them up to generate spares for people in the club. I need a spare and Mike needed a spare, so that was enough motivation to do this. Specs:

Tires are ~5 years old, but have less than 8k total miles. Tires have been in the rocks a good bit since I've had them and thus have some decent rock rash. They hold air, have an even wear pattern and have tons of tread life left. Perfect for a spare.

Rims are steel wagon wheels that I powdercoated black myself. They are 15x10s with 3.5" backspacing and fit the 60 with no spacers.

I was planning on asking $400 for the set, so I'm asking $100 for wheel / tire combo. If you want the tire without the wheel or the wheel without the tire for whatever reason, let me know and we might be able to work something out.

They all look pretty much like this. These were taken in July I believe. If you want more recent pictures, let me know and I'll get it for you.

Damn I wish I had the coin.... maybe santa will drop one down my chimney

I upgraded one of my VITAL tools (IMHO) and am seeing if anyone here wants it before I CL it. It works perfectly, just doesn't hang with heavier plate. It gets the job done, I simply need something that is more efficient and leaves a cleaner cut when working with 1/4" plate.

Lotus Cut50D Plasma cutter.
- Dual voltage, 110-220V input voltage (yes, it can run on "house" voltage)
- Claims 1/4" cut, 1/2" sever. My experience is that it "can" sever 1/4", cleanly cut 1/8" steel plate, decent cut 3/16" steel.
- includes bag of consumables

$225 takes it away. All you will need is the appropriate input plug and air pressure regulator/water separator.

Here it is...
