I don't have any particular leads, but I would suggest searching Craigslist because you can probably find some locally.

No luck on Craigslist but on NC 4x4 found some 16x7 5x5.5 with 4 in backspacing. Don't know ..... about this but will this work with 265/70/16's or do I need 8" or will any other size work?

A 10" wide tire should fit on a 7 inch wide rim

as for the backspacing I don't know what regular backspacing is for an old Ferd truck like that.

I found a deal on these 4) Goodyear Wrangler 37 x 12.50 - 16.5 LT, tires, with rims, used. anybody need these? they are on govt liqidation and current big is $150.

I would run them. I'm not sure on bs though. If your patient you should be able to find some of those real cheap.

I know nothing about bs, but Al should know a lot about bs :whoops: I will keep looking. It's just used to haul firewood but I would rather put 8" wheels on my old ferd. It might want to go URE with almost brand new michelins!

Hey guys,

New here to the cruiser world but not to wheeling. I built a 98 tacoma, SAS with dana 44, inchworm doubler, cage, stuff like that. Had to sell it then bought a new 2010 tacoma. Now decided i dont want a truck payment anymore so its going. With that said I am ready for a fj80 but I need some help finding one...

Looking for a 93+ cause I am hoping for locking diffs, lower miles would be great as in 150-175k would be ideal. Also willing to travel for the right truck. Help me keep a lookout please guys.

Just like the one pictured but without the wiring. it is 24V but I am sure some of you tech indy's can figure it out. I have had it for a while but never got around to installing.

If I recall it was for a high roof non US FJ60 but was rare so I bought it. I have seen several refit them to US 60 series.
