any wet weather reports? my Geolanders are HORRIBLE in the rain on curves! want something better
Not yet, oddly enough it hasn't rained in Portland since I got the tires. Should find out later this week and hopefully next week driving up to Mt. Hood to test snow performance.

Continue to debate what I want to do with tires/wheels.

This shows a worn 285/75/17 on method mr314 next to 275/55/20 on black rhino 20”.

The body lines of the ‘16+ just work better with a 20” wheel I believe. May stick with the 20’s and just get more rubber.

@Cruiserhead05 those Black Rhino wheels where one of the best looking they made then Wheel Pros bought them and killled that wheel.

Just now if you damage on that is it.

But man do I love that wheel on a 570

I’ve actually found a few places that still have some in stock. Thought about buying one of two just in case.

Let the mods begin

Yes I know there is a 200 series picture thread, and naturally this covers both the Land Cruiser and the LX 200 series cruisers.. I thought it would be cool if we started a LX picture thread since most of the pics on the 200 series pic thread are of the LC.. I am having a hard time finding pics of LXs, for every 10 pics 1 is an LX...So come on fellow LX owners, post up stock/modded/wheeling/mall cruising/ urban wheeling pics, ha.. We all know the LX is the pinnacle of the 200 series, so let's show the LC owners what there missing :flipoff2:...
Just had a 12,000 lb winch installed on my 2013 LX570 also running Nitto Trail Grapplers 285/55/R20 original wheels.

Here is ours. It is a 2020 we purchased Certified Pre-Owned.
We will start to do some light adventuring soon, but I am working through some health issues so our travels will be close to home.
I would like to explore some more off-road capable tire and wheel packages that.
We sure love this thing.

Rotated tires, removed 3rd row, and got a UPS shipment to do my OEM BBK… sadly one of the 2016+ Calipers was on back order.

Third row came out pretty easy, only bashed my knuckles a little getting the right and left seatbelts out. Psyching myself up for a DIY drawer install.

What is an OEM big brake kit?

@lx200inAR You could always go with this:

Too much time off work rolling into the end of the year. But it’s good to have some time to get some projects done.

Have another equally large order on its way from Serra. This one was from Fred Anderson. They won on speedy service. Questionable packing though with 4 Rotors and a caliper in the same box. Luckily no softgoods with it. Also the UPS guy dropped it off at my neighbors door. I was standing right there when it happened, my neighbor was queasy thinking about trying to carry the box into his house.

I haven’t gotten the “your parts have shipped“ email from Serra yet.. if it doesn’t come soon, I’ll be switching to FA as pricing is identical. After the starter/alternator threads that have popped up I ordered one of each so I wouldn't be in a bind and could get them at a discount.

That’s quite the price delta. the OEM approach is about half of that with all new Toyota parts. I went with TRD rear pads and Stoptech fronts (oem branded TRD). Still need to order extended brake lines, and a bit to drill out the knuckles. (Brake lines not needed for the upgrade, but I have parts to extend travel of my AHC setup, so trying to kill 2 birds).

Also those won’t fit under my rock warriors most likely. So I’d have to tack on another 3k in wheels and tires.

edit:
whoa, just realized that was fronts and rears separately. So $4500 total, so that’s 4-5 times more expensive.

Definitely not a cheap option. I’ve held onto my 18’s telling myself I’d do this someday.
