Picked up this 2018 from Milwaukee a couple months back. Hate that there are no tire options for 21”. Thinking of putting on 18x8.5 +10mm and 35x12.5 TA ko2s. I know that’s a lower offset than ideal. I have an 80 for real wheelin’. Just need to be able to run over curbs if needed in the city or park without banging up wheels. Plan to do a small sensor lift in front and trim. Leave the rear alone. Thoughts?View attachment 2868805View attachment 2868809View attachment 2868793View attachment 2868794
Beautiful new LX! That 80 series is badass 😍

From a 35x.12.5 owner to potentially another. You're going to have a heck of a time making 35x12.5s fit on +10 offset wheels. Going to have to butcher the fenders, liners, BMC, side steps, front bumper, etc. Or going to have to really limit suspension travel. That's too nice of a vehicle for those mods unless you're wanting to go into the deep end with aggressive fender mods or body lift.

Look for something +25 to +35 offset, ideally closer to +35 to to help things fit.

Get the recipe right (look in my sig), and everything tucks beautifully.

BTW, your cummins 80-series is wicked

Hi all,

Finally got tires (Ko2 285/70) mounted on the RW’…

Americas tire didn’t have the tool to tighten the lug nuts
I provided, so I had to wait until late evening for the auto parts to deliver it to the store to get my tires put back on.

Just outside of Ocotillo Wells, there's a nice mountain goat trail beyond the Painted Gorge.

Got caught in the storm in Northern NV/CA/ southern Oregon. LX has done great so far.

Tis the season. I hope to get caught in some snow tomorrow near Tahoe so the kids can play.

Wondering if you've tried airing down as a strategy for more snow traction? Or she's a tank and plows through everything?
I was just in south lake Tahoe on kO2's and was just fine through some of the storm. I heard it's worse on highway 80 / Reno side though

Maiden voyage from SJ to South Tahoe to Vegas via Alabama Hills since getting the '21 LX with Icon Rebound Bronze 17" and 285/70R17 BFG A/T KO2. Luckily I missed the second wave of the storm before heading out of South Tahoe.

I didn't air down, it would be good to know if it helps or not.

Picked up 2016 lx 570 few days ago. 59k miles with great lexus dealer serviced every 5k miles religiously. Texas truck from day one and local to dfw area. Clear coat has scratches and swirl marks from car washes, needs to buff them out and ceramic coat.
Looking to find out which skid plates should i get to protect catalytic converter underneath since had one stolen couple of weeks ago from wife`s 3 month new gx 460.

Can’t you just drop it down in low mode when parked? Seems like it would be pretty hard for somebody to get under the truck in L. Otherwise, many aftermarket skids will do the trick. If you are only looking for CC protection you may want to go with a light, aluminum solution. Bud built is a great option.
