Time for sliders my dude!
I have SLEE sliders sitting in my garage. I have had zero time between work, vacation, army, side business, and a third child on the way (which also means I have no money to pay someone for install). And then we randomly bought a TT after being sick of COVID and the smoke in Portland.

I’m confused. Do you have a supercharger or not? I was just asking for pictures as we don’t see it in the US. Not sure why you’re giving the run around.

Thank you! I’m not sure why he has to be so evasive and secretive about it. All he has to say as it’s just badging. I also thought he was in the Middle East but it looks like he’s in Kansas. My bad!

He told me he has one.

From the post above @radman linked, his build thread seems to imply it's cosmetic and he put on OEM parts (badging, grill, lights, etc.) from the supercharger LX 570 (but no actual supercharger). Either way, he could just come out and say he has one or he doesn't. I was wanting to see pictures. Mud members are usually very helpful and accommodating. Not used to this circus.

"I ended up doing a 2013+ conversion and Supercharger edition facelift (cosmetic only so far) which consists of the supercharger tail lights, 2013+ bumpers, headlights, grille, as well as the supercharger lip kit in front, fog light housings, mesh bumper insert and rear diffuser.

I also got the 2014 Supercharger wheels which come finished in gloss black. This special edition was only available in a limited production run for the Middle East (GCC) market."

I think he was just referring to the car pictured which i don't think was his as they tend to post up a lot of pics of LC/LX from the middle east.

Negative ghost rider. I went back and forth with him on rocking fake S/C badges and wanted pictures. Bold move but whatever floats your boat I guess.

As I recall the LX in his build was totaled.

Hi, I really enjoy seeing so many LX with Off-road shoes. I wonder if you have the rubbing issue on the front while turning.
I have 18x9.5, 0 offset. With 275/65/18. Rubbing both front and back side of the fender.

Hi and welcome. Great looking LX you got there. Like a suit with sneakers.

The rubbing problem is largely created by the 0 offset wheels you have. It's not really the right size from a fitment and suspension geometry POV. It creates a wide swing as the tire turns, causing the rubbing against the wheel well limits. With more appropriate offsets, one can fit much much larger tires. Or with the wrong offset, it creates fitment problems with even mild tires. For reference, stock wheels are +60mm offset. About 2.5" more inset than the 0 offset wheels.

There's some easy things you can do to create more room if you're sticking with these wheels. I don't know if your later model LX is exactly the same, but should be the same idea. These threads should help

Hey there and welcome! Just for future reference, your chosen line looks awfully close to what most would consider driving onto the dune, which is a no-no here on the east coast and unfortunately threatens access to the few beaches we can publicly access. Just something to be aware of next time you're out and about.

Hi, thank you so much for the advice. Im thinking to get tundra wheels which is more appropriate for the truck. The only thing I’ll be missing is the aggressive look as the factory wheels tuck in so much. I love this forum.

Hi, thanks for the advice. The picture was taken in over sand vehicle zone. I have the annual osv permit as well. I do wish we have more beaches allowed public access here in north east.

Hi,

+25 offset wheels are about a reasonable limit for an aggressive look, with reasonable fitment and geometry. Many aftermarket wheels are offered in this offset.

Most every OEM wheel, including Tundra and Sequoia wheels, are going to be +60/+58 offset. Exception would be the Rock Warriors at +50.

You can use spacers, commonly available in 1" and 1.25", to get the desired fitment for OEM wheels. Would put things at +35mm and +28mm respectively.

Do you know if there any aftermarket wheels take factory lug nuts? And what’s the biggest tire i can have on oem 18s without issues?
