Hey. This is a little off topic, but I remember you had some pics from Mt Shasta. I wondered if you had any recommendations for trails and camping (preferably dispersed). I assume since its a NF that there should be a goodly number of FS road options, but I haven't found much written about the area.

Sorry I missed this post. Yeah, Shasta was gorgeous. Can't offer much in recommendations as we home based from an RV park about 1 hr south. The trail I found I took on a whim off the main route about 1/3 of the way from the top.

Have any of you mounted the ARB compressor in the rear passenger side compartment?
The Coopers plains arb store has a bracket for this and fits the little air tank inside too. It was $750 aud with shipping. The compressor is pretty loud, I didn’t want it in the car. I wanted it under the rear, but in the end was seduced by the ease of buying the mount and putting it under hood.

Don't have mine mounted there, but I like that spot for storing my air-hose and inflator.

I looked at that bracket and was pretty impressed. The kit looks pretty well thought out and bullet proof. Problem is that it doesn't work for me, the '13 LX had a subwoofer in that spot that I'd rather not move.

Changed the truck status from "soccer mom" to "slightly less soccer mom". Here is the wheel and tire spec:

Wheels: Method NV 305 - 18x9 ET. +25. 5x150 bolt pattern
Tires: LT BFG KO2 - 285/65R18 - 37psi - laces out 🤘

Looks great! I’m currently debating your exact wheel spec vs a +0 offset.

Could you post more pics in N suspension mode showing the amount of tire to fender difference?

I’m thinking the +25 should be about flush, +0 look to be too aggressive with no lift.

Thanks! I'll upload more pics later. The above pictures are in High mode.
+25 is about the perfect flush (very minimal poke) with zero rubbing when the front mud flaps are removed. 0 offset would poke ~1 inch more, not sure if it rubs anything though!

Looks awesome. I’m biased to white walls in.

Tint your front windows and it will look killer.

Laces out 🤘🏻

Nice looking rig! Any rubbing with those tires?

Thanks! I had to mold/move the mud guards, and then I've noticed some very minor rubbing on the control arms at full lock with suspension travel in lower height...e.g. backing out of driveway in the morning before it's gone from L to N and cranking the wheel. In the pic it's definitely in L. I've done some of the AHC lift in the front, haven't touched the rear yet.

Overall still debating how 'built' I want to go, since it's also my daily driver really enjoying the understated approach.

Hey fellas, quick shout out and thank you to the guys below. I came across this forumn after searching for tires sizes for the LX and went with the following.

SWUtah - nice tires size and fit 285/55/20

UCrazyKid - light upgrade for 2011 LX, installed Hikari Low Beams today and everything working well.

Thanks again for sharing and the information.

Reached the end of the Mormon Immigrant Trail. The road was blocked by a logging operation a few miles before the real closure point.

Thanks. Yeah, they are coming. I am taking the truck back up to Ben soon for the slider install and a new set of wheels/tires.

Ben is making LX570 sliders? When I talked to him a few weeks ago he told me that he wasn't going to produce them as long as the Slee ones were actually available which they are supposed to be now.

^Looks like a great time! What tires/tire size are you on? Perhaps can add that to your signature?
