Officially Sunday isn't part of any run, but in the past, most of the wagon run has followed me out on Sunday morning, about 6am!
I thought the wagons couldn't leave before 8 on Sunday! (Hey, It was worth a shot):D

I agree. If you leave too early, its cold out and your tire pressure is low...and you might blow a bead

That, would be cool

The class would be easy. It's the test that's hard because you need to be an official VE (voluntary examiner) to give the test. Radio Dave might be a VE, not sure about anyone else.

Rubithon Renagade Hard Core Run Wednesday June 24. Mudracks double locker run on Wednesday is filling up fast, so I'm organizing and leading a special "Renagade" run for any that want to just take all the hard lines! Come and test your junk. Plan is to depart @ 9am and arrive in the springs before dinner time!

All the usual hardcore stuff will be required:
Double lockers, 36"+ tires, 4" + lift, beadlocks, winch/ recovery gear, spare parts and tools for your rig. Oh and the most important is a "BIG SMILE" !!! The exact departure point ( on the west side of the trail) to be determined. Start time will be 9am.

Rubithon Chairman says if this is a popular run this year, he will consider it as an "Official" run to sign up for next year!

Contact me ASAP @: toyrocs@pirate4x4.com
Cheers. Desmond

Just sent mine in. From a Mac. Not sure if it made it to you but going to resend it in the morning from work. Ken

I'm just going to put this out there. It would be cool if toys on the rocks could put on a ham radio class and test for some time that week end.

It's not going to happen for this year. Things are already in the works to make it happen down the road. The hard part is getting VE's that can come in. And the class portion unless you just did the QRZ.com stuff on your own, would be interesting to get a handle on. But we are on the same page sir!

I'm going to work on getting mine, but not in time for this year. Through FOTR we have some great contacts, but the wheeling VE's has been a stumbling block..... for now :)

For those that don't know Desmond, he does mean the hard lines :) You would be in very capable hands and when he starts using the airbags, you may find yourself envious!!!! Evil genius I tell you! Thanks for taking this on Desmond!

If you decide to hook up with Desmond, select the renegade run and for day/location, just put... Desmonds. He will let me know what the group of you decide.

Congrats to Keith Knutson as April's extra grand prize ticket winner!

Time is running out.....

Please remember your registrations must be received, not postmarked, before June 1st to get T-shirts this year. We will not be doing a post event order like in years past.

Also, Late fees begin for any post marked after May 22nd!

See everyone next month!

Need a Friday Cadillac Seat

My son is returning from a 6 month deployment off the coast of Somalia, and will be flying in from Mayport, Florida into Oakland Thursday night. We'll get him home to Vallejo, and then he'll drive one of our cars up to the Tahoe Side staging area by 8 AM Friday. I'd like to find him a seat in to camp on that run 9AM run in, or from someone that will be bombing down that morning. While a Loon Lake run could work, it would put us driving back up to the Dam on Sunday to retrieve the car.

PM me, or email -- president at tlca dot org

Thanks!

Ross, there isn't a formal run from Tahoma on Friday. The Tahoma run leaves at 10am on Thursday.

While I can’t change when I have to have my shirt order in, after a lot of thought, I’ve decided to do an after event order of clothing after all. So for continue on with orders for shirts and hoodies.

Be advised, you will not receive the clothing until after the event. There may be some delay as we will be put back in production order. Postage for these will be covered by the $25 late fee now in effect.

Orders for food will be taken until June 11th.

See you in a few weeks,

Eric
