Hey Skillet, my wife doesn't know the meaning of 'pack light' and we still fit everything in the 40. That said, I've always wanted to include the kitchen sink with the rest of the gear.

If nothing else it will be an interesting experience for you. Which "run" are you planning to go on?????

I'll probably not do the trailer...it was just a thought.

Not sure on the run. Vehicle specific?

Darn! ;)

Some runs are vehicle specific, some aren't. Some are based on the amount of torture you prefer and/or how much vacation time you want to burn up. Check the registration link on post #1 here, or the next issue of Toyota Trails.

The company of the folks on the wagon run was stellar. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to take the extra day off this time.

Thursday breakfast run maybe...

Skillet-We'd be happy to have you along, but your FJ40 the way it's set up, will walk through the Rubicon. I think the wagon run is good for first timers, because while we do start on time, we don't tend to hurry.:D You could go on any run you choose with that truck.

Slow and steady is exactly what I prefer...more fun that way. I'd love to be part of your group. I'm in.

You fellas think I can drag my fresh SOA M101 CDN along, or is that a no-no?

We bring trailers in from the Tahoma side every year.

You can bring a trailer all the way through, I've used a trailer with a port a pottie in it as far as Buck Island without any problems, but a lot of that depends on your driving ability/experience.

If you decide to bring it, know it may get scratched or dinged up. And most of all I would talk with the Trail Leader you plan to go with and make sure they don't have a problem with it. It may make the entire group go slower.

I pack way too much stuff myself and can still get it all in a 40, just looks like the Beverly Hillbilly's:hillbilly:

I have taken my FJ60 through Swamp trail with only a 2.5"OME lift and 33's. I picked up few dents and a broken motor mount at the end but didn't slow the group down. We made it through in 9 hours with 1 hr lunch. Would I be welcomed on the wagon run?

Contact Andy Pollock (cruiserdrew). He is the lead for the Wagon Run. You can find his contact info at Rubithon.com and hit the contacts tab. Or just pm him here

I will be signing up for the wagon run. I'm bringing the LX to Georg for a few things before it happens.

My only issue is that I'm a wildland firefighter and I belong to a team which means that if the team goes, I go to the fire/flood/oil spill/hurricane. I just hope it works out this year for me. This is something I've wanted to do since the late 80's.

I'm the Chairman and a fireman myself. I feel your pain pkelly72. Thats the nice thing with it in June, much less likely to get called out! Hope to see ya there. You will have a blast with Andy and the Wagon Run, great group of guys!

All Lead and Committee registrations have been e-mailed out. If you were expecting one, and did not receive it, call or email me.

Ross pointed out there was a typo on the registration forms. I wanted to clarify that the Hoodies will be from the 26th event not the 25th event. :frown:

I have corrected this on Post#1 and they are correcting on the Rubithon.com website. :)

If you haven't downloaded or filled it out yet, please use this new form, but if you are one of the early birds that already submitted it, don't worry about it, I will fix it on my end and thanks for the early registrations!

Last year was my first Rubicon and it was an absolute blast. I spent the entire off year getting my truck ready and was prepared.

Cruiserdrew and his wagon crew are top notch.

Don't be a peckerhead and keep everyone from enjoying themselves by not being prepared and taking their advice.
