Flying out today to Orlando to travel with one of my sales reps for the week. If any of you Florida boys are around give me a shout. I have no idea where we will be but I'm going to try to go see the shuttle launch Wed. night.

Flying back Friday.

Captain you really need to get you a vehicle that you can leave at your mountain house. An old cruiser or something. You can catch flights up from Orlando, Ft Lauderdale, Punta Gorda, and St. Petersburg to Greenville for around 60 dollars round trip. Very cheap. I'm sure one of us would be happy to shuttle you up to the house.

Check them out. Way cheap flights.

I was just in Winter Park Sunday visiting Dave and his wife (Dave rode shotgun with me at GSMTR in 98 and that other time when he and Jim rolled on a little ole muddy hillside turn.

Waiting for Jim to post up - seems he has similar ideas in the works on how to make it easier to visit ya'all.

Have fun in O-town - unless you're in the downtown area, Winter Park, or a few of the other older towns - that place plain suks!

Dang Marshall. I was in O-town for the last 2 days and just got back.

Already on this flying-up thing like white on rice. Have been looking for the vehicle. My next step is I'm actively looking to buy my own plane, C-172-180 HP. Am planning to land at Anderson or P-town. In the meantime, those commercial flights are cheaper than driving up, as long as I don't need to carry any tires, winches, bumpers, etc. :D

Roger that, Doc. I had brought things back and forth from Fl and SC in the past numerous times in my pick-up. Just givin' fair warning that that cannot happen i any longer if I do get the 172. 4.5 hours of flying sure beats 11 hours of driving....

Well back in Orlando tonight and flying out tomorrow around lunch. I've been to Lakeland, Port Charlotte, Ft Myers, Bonita Springs, Naples, then back through Ft Myers into Sarasota, St Pete., Clearwater through Tampa back into Orlando tonight. All in 3 days and seeing dozens of clients. I stayed in Naples and last night stayed in St Pete on the beach. Got to see the un set over the ocean last night and rise this morning on the beach. While the trip was all business it was really cool to see the western side of FL. Would be a cool place to vacation to. Last night we stayed on a hotel on the beach for $69. Not nearly as expensive as I thought it would be.

WIsh I could stay until SUnday and see the shuttle launch. But with flights being as cheap as they are I see myself coming down for a night to see it.

Marshall, I knew there was a reason Ken & I selected you as the new owner of our '93! We have a lot in common if you like the west coast of Florida! I'm currently on Anna Maria Island, which is about 45 minutes south of St. Pete. I've been here for three weeks while Ken drove the motorhome rig cross country from the California desert. Vacation with your family on Anna Maria. It's the BEST of Florida besides Destin which is too damn cold right now.
