On a STOCK front spring shackle (1973 FJ40) what is the distance pictured below..??

Ok,
I ran down into the garage in my bare feet and L=~2 3/4"...front and rear. ~ is just a smidge more than 2 3/4". Now I got to get my feet to warm up.

My front Shackle length is 2.5"
I have Old Man Emu Leafs with original Shackles.
The Shackles are slightly too short.

When you jack up the Chassis and the Axle drops, The Shackle should be at a 'Right Angle'(90 degrees) with the Chassis.
