Does anyone know the correct part # for the OEM Rear Diff Skidplate? I see that it's an option when building a 25 LC250 on the Toyota website. The Toyota parts website lists two different part #'s: pt22835245 and pt22835242. Thanks in advance!

Maybe, maybe not. But that skid looks to be much thinner than the diff housing.TNGA is a new breed. Minimize/maximize everything. Did they maximize the diff cover strength on the 250?
Toyotas use 3rd members, no cover. You're right.... It does. I think I'd be more concerned with a diff cover than a skid.
I realize that. You can still dent and puncture it.Toyotas use 3rd members, no cover.
wow, no comparison -- battle cruiser versus the Iranian gunboatsThat thing looks completely useless. Wait a bit for budbuilt to come out with one.
I have his diff skid for the 150, and it's 3/16 steel and provides pinion and locker motor protection. Also keeps the drain plug and bung from being ground off by rocks, so you don't have to air chisel the drain bolt out. Probably very few 250s will see hard enough use for the next few years to need one, and replacing the rest of the skids with real ones should be much higher on the priority list.
