Well getting up at 4:20 am for work has it's advantages I guess.
While drinking a tea before hitting the shower I usually spend a few minutes on Ebay looking at Landcruiser stuff.
I got this mint clinometer for $75 on a buy it now from a gent from Australia less than an hour after he listed it.

Question- will this plug in to an exsisting plug behind the slot-shelf-that-doesn't-hold-anything-worth-a-dam thingy on my '87 like I think it should?

Thanks, Joe

Make sure you didn't buy one that's made for a 24 volt electrical system, unless your electrical system is 24 volts......

Search on "inclinometer" & you'll find a couple threads that detail the install. Hardest thing is cutting up the existing bezel so it fits. Dunno how you tell or what you do if it's 24V: never heard of one, either.

If it's from Austrailia it's probably 24 volts.

To answer your question: Yes, there is a clock plug behind your bezel in the dash area that you can plug into.

Who's an electrical expert? how's he gonna deal with the 24 volt versus 12 volt issue?

Most are 12

Most of these are 12 you only power is for the lights. Do a search there is a guide to what the wires are and no your truck will not have the plugs already in.

Thanks for the help guys.
Yeah it's 12 volt that's why I jumped on it. If there's ever a question to the voltage of the unit, it's stamped pretty big right on the back.

As far as Ebay, i have watched quite a few come up for sale lately.
