Hey guys help me out ? I know I don't have crazy horse power but when we were out at snt last year I hated the way my rear axle felt( welded reAr) going up one of the rutted up hill climbs out by our check point , so my question is you think it would be benifical or over kill to add a simple torqe bar ? I already have the mount brackets welded to the axle and a limiting strap mount there already too? Let me know

Yea, alot more than I liked in that one area

The only way to get rid of the wheel hop is to link it. Wheel hop is a product of leaf springs.

Well it wasn't that way when I was open ? Only really bad on that climb out back where all the whoops are

Is it wheel hop or pinion rotation? It sounds more like the pinion is rotating.

Maybe it's your SUA/SOA set up?

SInce James basically has my old set up, I never hald wheel hop. at all. Running SNT no problems at all in the sand. My old ford ranger I had in Humboldt county on the beach got mad hop. The 40 didn't with that set-up.

Might it be something else? The only difference is I have a lunch box locker, not welded.

Throw a pic of yours up here ? Know how I'm doing the axle end, wondering how far forward I should go?

Do you have extended shackles in the rear?

No Dan used the shakles that were on it stock hieght....

REPOST!!! That has been on the boards for a long time, but very cool.

That is why I commented el presidente.
