When putting the key in and starting up, the typical start up tone has what sounds like an echo to it from a different speaker that is raspy/buzzing/slightly different tone.

Not sure what to make of it. I assume the start up/warning tones are coming from their own computer under/near the gauge cluster but don't know where that speaker/buzzer is located. For those familiar, the normal tone sounds like a small speaker while the echoing tone sounds like a piezoelectric buzzer.

Could be a sign of something wearing out. I have one of the oldest 100 series (#404 made) so I assume that for issues like this it could be that I'm the first to experience it despite not having very high mileage.

The warning chime is a small piezo electric speaker mounted on the gauge cluster circuit board. Here’s a link to the part if you want to dig it out and replace it: https://www.digikey.com/products/en?keywords=Cmt2412c050
