Odd Noise on Compression. Drivers side.

I went and inspected the UCAs and everything looks fine. No rub marks on the spring or UCAs. I do have the SPC adjustable UCAs and the alignment was within the normal spec.

I did however, find some scrape marks on the bottom of the sway bar directly above the steering link. No marks on the steering link. I'm wondering if the sway bar relocation brackets are positioning the sway bar in a bad place when fully compressed?

Thanks for all of the input.

easiest method to find it is to use a lift or a fork lift and troubleshoot while flexed out. Could be done with some good ramps as well (or a rock)

Will do. I can use a forklift from my work after hours. I'm heading out to Glenwood springs (Carbondale) for some camping later this week. I'm going to hit a few trials and get out of the city. I'll have to listen and see if I can ID the location of the sound when flexing.

Thanks for the advice.

Just a follow up in case someone else can use the information. I just replaced the lower control arms with new oem. I am getting an alignment now, but the weird noises are GONE! I am so relieved.

The bushings were cracked and the ball joint was loose (not sloppy) so I’m not sure which part was causing the problem (maybe both?). Regardless, the rig drives like new again.
