Most Land Cruiser owners are very very cheap. Only one group is cheaper. VW TDI guys.

Sold the VW TDI Golf for an 85 cruiser. I like to call it frugal.

Bump! Shaping up to be a great turnout, rain should be finished by then.

As a reminder, Phil and the guys in the parts department here go to bat for us a lot in donating a lot of raffle prizes, swag and support for our TLCA events. With the economy in the s***ter, it would really mean a lot to show the powers that be that the efforts and expense don't go unappreciated as he starts groveling for next year's budget.

For those will be getting an oil change, I need a quick favor please- just so Service doesn't get caught off guard and can staff accordingly, please post up your first name and what kind of vehicle will be getting an oil change?

I have been asked about The Hole in the Wall closing, and here's the scoop: the Bar will be closing on October 29th, the restaurant will remain open.... does not affect the meeting. They are open until 2:00AM.

They even have a sign up that proudly proclaims "Yes, we's open".

Other plans cause me to pass up on a .99 oil change...

With BG_TX backing out, you are the only one from LSLC signed up for an oil change.

I know Phil and the parts folks are planning on making a good show (snack trays, drinks, displays, etc.), so here's crossing our fingers for a decent turnout from LSLC.
