OBDII scan tool compatibility

Im thinking of buying an ebay scan tool for all my cars just to tinker around with. My friend loves it. I was wondering if these were compatible with our trucks?

Go with a GoPoint. I unfortunately can't go a day without mine.
Works great with either DashCommand or the GoPoint app itself.

Just for reading and deleting errors i use an kiwi wifi dongle and the APPs "rev" and "Dashcommand" on my Iphone.

When you want more - want to be able to disable the seat belt reminders on the passenger side at sample, you should use this:

It comes with Techstream an piece of Software who allows you much more, than the usual odb2 dongles...

Thanks for the info guys. Im definitely leaning towards the tech stream software. I went to 4x4s website and can't really tell if the ebay kit comes with everything I need or do I need to order more. ?

You need a notebook with WinXP to connect, what is not includet.
