O2 sensors questions - 1988 FJ62 (1 Viewer)

Looking for info for my son's vehicle to plan exhaust system work. Questions:
1. Are the left and right O2 sensors the same model?
2. Is there supposed to be a sensor after the cats? Currently, we do not see one.
3. He currently has a diagnostic Code 28, which apparently indicates malfunction in the No. 2 oxygen sensor. Which one is No. 2?

2. No and I had a 91 3FE out of an 80.
3. That one monitors the rear most set of 3 cylinders.

They're also made by Denso (Toyota's OEM for a lot of electrical parts), so if you need to replace them and can wait for shipping, Denso P/N 2344056 on Rockauto is $34.89 each plus shipping. Just a wee bit better than the $120 each I paid when I bought them from the dealer almost 20 years ago.

I used those Rock Auto sensors and they worked great.
