The check engine light bulb is burnt out or someone removed the bulb. Need to get a new bulb installed.

No the check engine runs normaly because it lights up when engine starts and flash when you turn obd1 in check mode...

Sorry, misread your post.

So your check engine light works. Good

When you unplug the O2, does the check engine light turn on?

No my engine light does not turn on.
But I have the sensation that my truck is not running properly, and have "a little less" power...
In France we use to say that the truck is "lazy". In fact I have this impression when I start from a stop and when I speed up after slow a little...

I find it strange that the check engine light doesn't turn on with the O2 unplugged.

Do you have an automatic transmission? If so, check and adjust the cable from the throttle to the transmission. Try unhooking it and see how it runs. Mine was way out of adjust. If yours is stretched or out of adjustment, it will make the vehicle feel "lazy". With mine being pulled way out at idle, it was very lazy. It has more throttle resonance now that its adjusted.

Check and adjust the TPS, throttle positioning sensor.
