o ring fix for IAC valve (1 Viewer)

can anybody explain the o ring fix for a fast idle at start up the link at safari4x4 isn't working and maybe point me in the right direction to find the IAC valve I can't find it in my manual.

Just something to check out, but the wires just short of the IAC on my blown 80 were quite brittle from the heat. Brittle enough that some just snapped in my hands, so make sure they are ok even if you don't have a supercharger on it.

THanks Junk, but the fix was much easier than expected I followed a previous members advice and pulled the EFI fuse for a few minutes and then replaced it and damn if it doesn't start at 800 rpm now and I've had the vehicle for 4 years and I've winced every time it roars to life at 1800-2000 rpm.
The jury is still out if this is a permament fix.

mine is the oposite, when I pull the battery first start the RPM's are high and I sometimes get the rattle, after that it learns back down to about 1k on start
