"cheaper than the jed's machine adapter?! where are you gonna get the adapter itself? how about the shaft?"
YEP and YEP.
but that is not really what i was talking about but you could. I am just saying find all the other parts on you own, dont go through a mickey mouse company to purchase parts from. OR like i just witness on the famous MORON'S of (e) BAY pay five times the value for one single piece, or over twice what something just sold for less then three days ago. DONT BE LAZY, source your own stuff. TO keep costs down. If time and $$$ are not a factor then by all means spend the money, and i might be the one selling you the parts, LOL bid more $$$!
Jedi s i had to use in a rush job (1.5week doubler), little rough for a finished piece, thinner plates then i am used to, WMS is 3/4", shaft was rough and needed to be finished as well. still using the alum bearing retainer which i cannot stand! but a most still are. I do like steel rather then bling$broke or light crap.
These things are not rocket science, soon as i get time to sit with my cad whore to finish up my plates i will be doing my own. ( whenever that is) I can get shafts done right now.
dana? did it look like a big triangle? sounds like the smaller rockwell t case in early chevys (married and divorced). they did make a divorced dana 20, married and divorced dana 21 ( single speed case) dont know of any larger dana cases? What side drop? d28 is alumn case chain
205 to lc case (approx)
1.5" longer
1" wider
1" taller
5 to 20 times stronger, LOL
30 lbs more? havent weighed a lc case
currently there is no case close, and everyone is trying to imitate parts.
$ to $ it doesnt make sense to do anything else. Gearing is something
to be desired, but thats really it.
