Sorry no pics but... I was at Bethany Home and 17th ave yesterday when I saw 2 FJ40s at the light, side by side, and they raced off the light. I was going the opposite way so I couldn't see who won. There was a white one and a red one, looked to be pretty much stock AFAIK. I think the white one was the winner...

Fj40 racing

Um, was it a downhill slope at least?

You sir, are being unfair to turtles

Turtle races?

On behalf of my turtle brothers, I find your comments racist and insulting. To say that we are as slow as an FJ40, sir you wrong us, you wrong us strongly!

:flipoff2:

Although last week driving my FJ60 up to Mormon Lake/Lake Mary south of Flagstaff, I was feeling really turtle. Coming up 87 at a whopping 45 MPH, shifting between 3rd and 4th to maintain a forward motion. I haven't seen hate like that on the cars behind since the last time I drove the RV.

I think the HAC is just something the Toyota folks put on there just to mess with people into thinking that you could go High Altitude (7400' approximately per one of the signs I saw)

No, it wasn't downhill or with a headwind or anything else. It's possible they knew each other (how weird would that be to be minding your own business and ANOTHER FJ40 pulls up next to you at a light, in 2010).

Should have whipped out the cell phone for at least a (bad) pic...

I've passed you more than once uphill :flipoff2:
