RavenTai, I'm calling pure BS dude. :ban:

Those pics make it look EXACTLY like what is in the 40th Anniversary 80's. And I know for a fact that the 40th's wood chips away nicely.

Sorry to go against a fellow 40th owner, but that's not what was in my 40th.... :flipoff2:

Notice in the picture how on the center console, the woodgrain extends down into the little change holder thing, and how the piece surrounding the gear selector is all one piece? I'm sure my woodgrain was original, and that ain't how mine looked.

So, close, but not "exactly"....

Nice looking truck Ken. Congrats!!!!

Have a great time on your first honeymoon night.

I still disagree Docmallory. It looks exactly like what is in mine.

See how it is missing around climate control and radio area?

Plus, since I can delete posts, I'm never wrong about anything. :flipoff2: :D

Dude you are going to be so happy. Welcome to 80 Land. The only place to be. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Rock on Romer!! Nice find! Looks like 2 keys but only one clicker? I only got one key with mine, you can program another clicker by yourself if you wanted to...that reminds me I really should order another key from Lexus for mine, about $30 I think, they can look it up from the VIN which is kinda cool.

That's the same wood scheme mine has, where it's not on the gauges at all, only the console and the doors, which I like, having it around the dash bothers me, to distracting IMO (yes I drive it as a racecar and can not be distracted!! :D).

Notice the 648miles on the trip odometer, do not be confused that is NOT from one tank of gas, maybe 3 tanks.. :D

Interesting the little flipdown cover on the CD changer is missing, which I've seen several that are missing on vehicles, I guess they get broken off after awhile, not sure, it doesn't need it, infact is far easier to get the CD cassette into it without that spring cover. Mine didn't come with the cd changer cassette, but you can find them cheap on ebay if your's doesn't have it.

Even has the gold emblem package, nice...very pimp'n! :D Tint the windows, lower it a bit, put in a system to make it thump and you'll be set.. :D

I would guarantee you that none of the maintenance items have been done on this, so you will probably want to plan some work on it to make sure she's taken care of.

Hmm, no pictures of the engine? I guess most people don't care...

Congrats, now get to wheeling it, oh and take some easy trails first, it's alot bigger than a 40, and harder to see where the corners are when wheeling.

Nice find though!

The pic of the trim looks like the standard LX trim. Neither of our 450s have trim around parts of the dash (unlike some LCs with wood trim). Just on the doors and center consol.

The plane was 2 hours late yesterday. Don't you hate it when the plane is sitting there and there are not any pilots? And why is a roundtrip ticket $80 cheaper than a 1 way? I bought the roundtrip of course.

Got there about 1PM CDT amd was on the road by 2PM. It drove like a dream and the stereo is awesome. The cupholders suck. Whats the idea of the one cupholder under the dash. You can't fit anything taller than a can in there and I needed tall coffee for the drive.

13 hours from Dallas to Denver and slept in my own bed. I'll take some more pictures after I clean the 4 states of Bugs off.

The engine looked great with no leaks and no apparent head gasket problems. The vehicle was last serviced in June wit regular penzoil. I'm going to sitch it to Mobile 1 and check the rest of the fluids. Probably put new tires on soon too!

I thought I has a problem about midnight. It kept wanting to go to the right and I thought something was wrong. So I stopped opened the door and got hit with a Kansas windstorm. It's real quiet and soundproof. I would have known it was windy in the GMC.

It actually looks better (to me) than in the photos in the ad.

Congrats Romer on your new LX 450. I know you are going to enjoy it. It is a nice looking rig.

Great find Ken,
I'll stop looking now :)
Let me know when u're ready for a run and I'll add u to my email 80s_CO list.

What modifications do your runs need. I'll be putting on some better tires sonn, but a lift will be a bit. Also, don't really want to damage the running boards. Plan to take them off later when I put on sliders, but that will be a while.
