We decided at the last minute to take advantage of the nice weather and head up for a little run in the Valley of the Deer to close out the season. That is if we ever get snow rain. . .

The dudes ready to roll

I was surprised to see a few changes since the fj45 run, such as filling the pit with a bunch of wood.

Down at the second water crossing from the hwy 88 side.

On the way out to hwy 4

Stopping for some lunch. . .

Finally reaching hwy 4 at dark. . .

Overall I would have to say that the trail has been pretty chewed up and in poor, (fun) condition. There was zero snow on the trail which was a bit unexpected due to the storm last weekend, but it was pretty wet and muddy.

 Dylan

awright Dylan! Looks like a great time was had by all. All those rocks musta knocked all the sand out of your Cruiser hehehe.

Nice bro!

How did your mega-length rear springs do?

Who the hell is that?

Super long springs did great! Where were you at surf and turf, I wanted to check out the vortec.

i was just "inland" from you, I only came in for Saturday- arrived around 4 am, left for home around 3 pm... Talked to your dad I think for a couple of seconds.

Maybe next year, or I'm pretty sure we'll be at CM '08 this year if you're going...

So, was it harder, or easier?

I would say it was harder. The downhill section going to down to hwy 4 was pretty washed out and seemed more off camber in a few spots.

I'd love to hit up CM08 but it seems it always misses my spring break
